As 2018 closed it’s doors and 2019 appeared around the corner, some of the team were over the moon to be involved with a church refurbishment project valued at £1.3m in Birmingham. As sub-contractors, they gained a massive amount of experience and were involved from the beginning of the project, right through to the point where the project was handed over to the client who was carrying out the final fit-out. Our site manager Gordon Terry told us “it was a pleasure to work on the project which was both challenging and rewarding. The experience gained on the project was invaluable and the lessons learned on the project will be carried forward on all future projects, big or small.

A partial rebuild and fit-out, it was an unusual project due to the many trades involved. With over 50,000 bricks to the external leaf of the building, repairs to the roof and new windows and doors throughout, there was a massive amount of work to be done before we could even start on the internal fit-out element.
